The background images were all generated using VistaPro 4.0, except for the USA and Earth at night GIFs which I found at the International Dark Skies Association WEB site. I searched for a copyright on it and found it was produced from DOD satellite pictures, which should place it into the public domain.

The VistaPro images were all created from standard Digital Elevation Maps (DEM), available from either the USGS or included in the VistaPro Additional Landscapes Package. The starfield is generated randomly by VistaPro and is not correct. However I will correct that soon using either Distant Suns for the Amiga or StarryNight for WIN32 systems.
