CEH allows you to specify dates that you may want to observe away from a weekend.
For instance suppose you enter July 4th into the event file for
If July 4th (called the traditional event) falls on a Saturday,
has no way to inform
you of this.
CEH however, can be configured to "Avoid Weekends" so that if the traditional event falls on Sunday, the observed event will fall on Monday and if the traditional event falls on Saturday, the observed event will be observed on the preceeding Friday. As an example, if the 4th of July occurs on Saturday, the event will being observed on Friday the 3rd. If the 4th falls on Sunday it will be shown as observed on the 5th of July. While this event uses the United States' holiday of Independence as the example, CEH can just as easily be configured to celebrate Newton's Birthday or perhaps October 22nd.
